Create 3 – Fair Use and TEACH Act

Fair Use Resource Possibilities in an Online or Blended Classroom

There are endless ways an online or blended classroom teacher can use Fair Use when gathering resources. These can include providing material for in-class work, take home or asynchronous or synchronous online learning. Examples for classroom use include having learning stations where students work independently viewing videos or online tutorials in conjunction with teacher-led stations, individual face-to-face time with the teacher in combination with independent-led activities that can be done anywhere or anytime. Students are responsible and guide their own learning. Activities are customized to challenge every student.

Observations about Fair Use and the TEACH Act and how it has changed the approach to finding reliable content for students
Because of the Fair Use and TEACH Act, there are a wide range of works available for teaching use. These resources allow for a teacher to set-up a classroom that constantly improves as technology changes, providing students with new and individualized learning methods. Additionally students have the freedom of storing, copying and digitizing materials from any location.
