Create – Web Tools for Differentiation of Teacher Instruction

An example of a web tool used for differentiated instruction is the use of videos for classroom viewing followed by an interactive step using  a mobile device. An example below includes using two short Khan Academy videos. One would be used as a broad overview to the subject followed by another that details the specific topic.

Following viewing both videos, a Powerpoint presentation would be shown detailing the topic even further with a poll asking open-ended questions given to the class afterward. Students would vote using their phones, tablets or notebooks with the results shown immediately on the Powerpoint.
